Volunteer Outing Bus Driver

The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this opportunity on behalf of BASScare.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of seniors?

Join us as a Volunteer Bus Driver and help facilitate Community Bus Excursions for seniors across Camberwell, Glen Iris, Ashburton, and Ashwood.

Your support will help seniors stay connected, social, and enjoying new experiences in the community.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Drive a 12-seat minibus (full standard driver’s licence required).
• Transport seniors safely to and from community excursions.
• Communicate warmly and respectfully with clients.
• Assist clients with mobility needs as required.
• Enjoy lunch and any excursion entry costs—covered for you!

Key Skills and Experience:

• A genuine commitment to supporting seniors in your local community.
• Friendly, patient, and reliable with good communication skills.
• Enjoy working as part of a team to create positive, social experiences.
