Time Required

An initial meeting with the Kew Toy Library. Most work can be done from home, but it will depend on the type of fundraising activities that are organized.

Training

Induction will be done via meetings with the President of the Kew Toy Library, co-ordinator and other members of the management committee.

The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of The Kew Toy Library.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to whip our fundraising efforts into shape. Can you help us create a fundraising plan for the next 12 months?

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • understand our member cohort to work out what would be the most effective and efficient ways to fundraise
  • create a fundraising plan for the next 12 months
  • set up and co-ordinate the planned fundraising, with assistance from the management committee

Skills and Experience: It would be great if you had fundraising experience already, but the most important things are:

  • excellent communication skills
  • great organisational skills and attention to detail
  • enthusiasm and dedication
  • ability to work autonomously and to a timeline
