Commitment

Regular - more than 6 months

Time required

Expected time fraction up to 2 hours per week for a month and then, up to 5 hours per month following (negotiable). This position can involve onsite and/or remote access (negotiable).

Training

An induction session will include briefing with a current probono website developer/maintainer and briefing from the Foundations' Senior Management.

The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this volunteer opportunity on behalf of The Aussie Hands Foundation Inc.

We are looking for a Website Developer to maintain and ensure that the Foundation's website is updated and running efficiently.  You will also provide some training to senior executives. Wordpress, CiviCRM knowledge required.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Foundation's website to ensure it is running efficiently
  • Make alterations/changes/updates
  • Provide some training to senior executives (eg: uploading updates, etc)
  • A new look website, including an online shop will be launched in August 19

Skills and Experience:

  • Expected to have significant experience and knowledge of Wordpress, Salesforce CRM and website programming
  • Also paypal (online shopping carts), Adobe suite of programs, and be skilled to maintain and develop the website

Benefits:

This role is crucial to the Foundation in that it will ensure that the main source of information and communications for Aussie Hands is kept up to date for members and also the general public visiting the website.
