Faversham House is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic volunteer to assist residents in enjoying weekly carpet bowls. Wednesdays weekly 10.15am to 11.45am
About the Role As a volunteer, you will:
- Invite and escort residents from their rooms and common areas to the indoor bowls area.
- Assist during the game by collecting and returning bowls to participants.
- Keep score and help celebrate the winner with prizes at the end of the session.
This role involves some light physical activity and plenty of interaction with residents, who will warmly welcome your support. You will also be guided and supported by our caring staff.
What We’re Looking For We are seeking volunteers who are:
- Empathetic, patient, and understanding.
- Comfortable engaging with older adults.
