The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role for the Fair Trade and Gift Shop.
Our shop offers thoughtfully sourced products that promote social justice, fair wages, equality, and environmental, and you can help share it.
What you’ll do
- Welcome customers and create a friendly shopping experience
- Learn about our products and share their stories with customers
- Talk about fair trade, sustainability, and ethical shopping
- Help create eye-catching displays
- Organise and manage stock
- Support events and help make the shop a welcoming community space
We’re looking for people who are
- Passionate about fair trade, sustainability, or social justice
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- Confident communicators—or keen to develop communication skills
- Reliable and comfortable working as part of a team
- Interested in building retail and customer service experience
Previous retail experience is welcome but not required—we’ll help you learn along the way.
