The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Holstep Health - Himilo Community Connect Program.

Himilo Community Connect aims to increase participation, building capacity, create valuable connections and open opportunities for success in education, employment, health and social cohesion from within the Somali Australian community.

Playgroup supports the community’s needs and assists to implement and build confidence for young person as they journey into academic learning. Learning through play and through socialization with other people are two areas we would like to develop in these young people.

This service is free for the community and the activity is happening on weekly basis during school term.

The Himilo Playgroup's program aims to improve the confidence, motivation and outcomes for preschool children.

The playgroup is happening twice a week in Olympic Village Primary school on Monday and Wednesday 10.45am - 12.15pm.
