The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Rotary Club of Balwyn.

Volunteer Key Duties

  • Sort and organise donated linen, kitchenware, and household items
  • Assist with moving furniture and home essentials (team lifting)
  • Help maintain the garden and outdoor areas
  • Carry out small, basic maintenance tasks as needed
  • Work alongside Balwyn Rotary members to create a welcoming environment for RIMEN clients and volunteers

Skills & Experience

  • No prior experience required
  • Willingness to do hands-on, practical work
  • Ability to work as part of a friendly team
  • Reasonable physical fitness for lifting and moving items (within comfort levels)
  • Reliability and a respectful, compassionate attitude

Additional Steps to Apply

  • Volunteers may be asked to complete a simple induction and follow Rotary safety guidelines
