The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Rotary Club of Balwyn.
Volunteer Key Duties
- Sort and organise donated linen, kitchenware, and household items
- Assist with moving furniture and home essentials (team lifting)
- Help maintain the garden and outdoor areas
- Carry out small, basic maintenance tasks as needed
- Work alongside Balwyn Rotary members to create a welcoming environment for RIMEN clients and volunteers
Skills & Experience
- No prior experience required
- Willingness to do hands-on, practical work
- Ability to work as part of a friendly team
- Reasonable physical fitness for lifting and moving items (within comfort levels)
- Reliability and a respectful, compassionate attitude

Additional Steps to Apply
- Volunteers may be asked to complete a simple induction and follow Rotary safety guidelines
- Commitment: Third Monday of each month, 10:00am–1:30pm
