The Ashy Op Shop We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to join our Customer Service team at The Ashy Op Shop.
Customer Service Assistants are front‑facing volunteers who help create a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience. This role is ideal for people who enjoy talking with others, assisting customers, and being part of a vibrant retail environment.
Key Activities Greeting and farewelling customers as they enter and exit the shop (indoor role) Greeting donors and accepting donations in the yard (a mix of outdoor, weather‑permitting, and indoor duties) Operating the register and processing sales Hanging, tidying, and merchandising stock on the shop floor
What We’re Looking For Friendly and approachable manner Enjoyment in helping others and working with the public Willingness to assist with light manual tasks and light cleaning Ability to work as part of a team
Training, safety equipment, and supervision are provided.
