What You’ll Be Doing
- Inbox Coordination: Taking around 10 emails per day and responding to them.
- Sharing of Media Releases to our volunteer journalists: This depends on relevance to the Cities of Whitehorse and Boroondara and interests and availability of our volunteer journalists.
- Receiving event promotion requests to forward for uploading to the website and bi-monthly PDF Keeping our community calendar alive by updating 20–30 local event listings per cycle using The Events Calendar.
- Receiving Community Group Listing requests to forward for uploading to the website and bi-monthly PDF Keeping our community calendar alive by updating 20–30 local event listings per cycle using The Events Calendar.
- Receiving advertising requests to forward for uploading to the website and bi-monthly PDF
- Receiving submissions from the community and our volunteer journalists for forwarding for sub editing prior to uploading to the website/bi-monthly PDF
- Collaboration: Acting as the friendly point of contact for our editors, helping them see their stories come to life online.
