The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this opportunity on behalf of Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre Inc.
Role requirements include but not limited to recruitment and rostering of volunteers, sales, budgets for the Op Shop, managing donations, sorting and displaying. Experience in retail management is required, understanding of a Not-for-Profit organisation, community engagement and capacity building is a must
- Ensuring Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre Inc (ANC Inc) is safe, accessible, and welcoming to people of all ages, backgrounds, culture and gender identity;
- Promoting ANC Inc and its offerings to the community;
- Promote and maintain a positive image of ANC Inc: through positive customer service; strong, supported volunteer base, all forms of marketing, media and promotion and when representing ANC Inc to external networks, partners and stakeholders.
Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre Inc is a vibrant community hub dedicated to providing communication and social connection. Our Op Shop is a vital part of our Centre helping fund community programs while providing affordable goods to our customers. This is an ongoing volunteer role, with the possibility of transitioning to a part-time paid position for the right candidate.
