Balwyn Evergreen Centre is a NFP offering programs and services to older people in and around Boroondara since 1958. We're a fun and welcoming community focused on ensuring our clients are happy, healthy and socially engaged.
Our Supported Lifestyle Program (SLP) offers a warm, community-based day program filled with laughter, movement and connection. It is designed for people with some cognitive decline or mild dementia who still want to get out, socialise and enjoy their day. We're looking for someone to join the team to assist with program delivery.
The program runs on Wednesday afternoons from 1pm to 2.30pm and the role involves:
- Assisting with social activities, ensuring clients are participating and benefiting from the program
- Supporting staff to deliver activities including brain games, whiteboard games and music
