The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Bowen Street Community Centre.
The book library is located on the edge of the footpath at the front of our neighbourhood house. The design concept must compliment the surrounding area. We are open to designs; however, we would like local flora and fauna to influence the design and create a talking point for locals who come past.
Bowen Street provides many learning opportunities and activities for adults, teens and children. We deliver programs to meet a range of ages and needs. Interesting courses, classes, events and activities that aim to promote self-learning, social inclusion and career pathways. Our tutors come from all occupations, from professional educators to passionate enthusiasts and hobbyists who are all a part of the Bowen Street Community.
