The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this opportunity on behalf of Kew Neighbourhood Learning Centre.
We are looking for a volunteer who:
- Can contribute professional and personal expertise in audio and visual mediums
- Has a genuine interest in working with people and being part of a team
- Has an interest in community projects
- Has a current Working with Children check/ Police check (can be arranged through the centre).
- Will build rapport with students and community members individually and in group work
The course focusses on;
- Storytelling and storyboarding podcast episodes
- Audio engineering various podcast equipment setups around the Centre
- Sound editing, mixing and mastering podcast episodes
- Emails send and receive, booking podcast guests, liaising with external organizations,
- Creating social media posts to promote various podcasting projects
The course includes the following skills;
- Audio recording equipment knowledge and troubleshooting
- Reaper DAW software
- Understanding network, SharePoint
- Using Microsoft teams, calendars
- Sound design
- Reaper DAW software
- Video/audio syncing and timecode
