What You’ll Be Doing
Be part of the team that brings Guide Dogs Victoria events to life! As a Special Events Volunteer, you’ll help create welcoming and memorable experiences for our guests while supporting the smooth running of events from start to finish.
Your tasks may include:
- Helping set up and pack down event spaces, including furniture, signage and displays.
- Welcoming guests, preparing registration areas and assisting with guest check-in.
- Supporting food and beverage service and responding to attendee enquiries.
- Assisting with event logistics, merchandise sales and cash handling.
- Sharing feedback and ideas to help make future events even better.
- Helping handle puppies at events.
Events take place at different times, including weekdays, evenings and weekends, so flexibility is a bonus! Some tasks may involve manual handling.
Every event is an opportunity to connect with our community, celebrate the work of Guide Dogs Victoria and help create experiences that people will remember.
