Site induction and training provided. A guide is available which can be referred to during the shift. Staff are on site at all times if queries arise.

The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this opportunity on behalf of Kevin Heinz GROW.

This non-paid volunteer role would be a good opportunity for anyone seeking experience in therapeutic horticulture, garden maintenance or retail nursery spaces.   Previous experience in disability services is favourable but not essential, as well as an interest in therapeutic gardens and Therapeutic Horticulture.

Duties include general garden maintenance in the nursery, watering, weeding, and customer service.   Various shifts are available, either 10.00am-2.00pm Monday to Friday or 9.30am-12.00noon on Saturday
