Avalon is a volunteer centre aiming to meet unmet needs when we can, where we can and in whatever way we can. In addition to our centre, we have a program named, ‘Avalon Homes for the Homeless', aiming to provide affordable accommodation for individuals experiencing homelessness, offering them a safe and welcoming place to rebuild their lives. Each of these properties comes fully furnished and each renter is accompanied by a volunteer support worker, to assist in the ongoing transition.

Alamein Neighbourhood & Learning is a neighbourhood house that provides government-funded, pre-accredited and fee-for-service adult education, community support programs, wellbeing and lifestyle programs to residents in our local community. The Committee works closely with the Executive Officer.
