BASSCARE
Support residents at Faversham House on weekly Monday afternoon bus outings. Assist residents from room to bus using wheelchairs if required, ensure safe boarding via steps or hoist, secure seatbelts, serve tea and coffee, engage socially with residents, and escort them back to their rooms. Always supported by staff.
Bowen Street Community Centre
We are looking for someone who can assist during our organised cooking classes to help the chef - to clean throughout the class, do some basic prep beforehand and a final clean and lock up after the class.

Craig Family Centre
Assist with School Holiday Program Activities! Craig Family Centre is seeking friendly volunteers or students to support fun children’s activities during the July school holidays. Help children with crafts, board games, fruit and veggie creature-making, movies, and general play. Sessions run Tues–Thurs, 11am–3pm across two weeks. Great for placement or volunteer hours. Lunch provided. WWCC required (we can help).
Bowen Street Community Centre
We are looking for someone who can offer IT support during one-on-one sessions. The support involves assisting individuals to troubleshoot issues on iPads, iphones and laptops.

Himilo Community Connect aims to increase participation, building capacity, create valuable connections and open opportunities for success in education, employment, health and social cohesion from within the Somali Australian community. Homework Club supports the community’s needs and assists to implement and build positive learning habits and behaviours that students will be able to use in school and out of school.

We are looking for volunteer tutor who is able to deliver learning support for students who are unable to attend our face-to-face session. The session timing and day would be dependent on your availability at a mutually agreed time with the parents/guardian of the students. Tutor will be matched to the student(s) depending upon the subject area of which the tutor is comfortable aiding the student.
