The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Rotary Club of Kew, Fair Trade & Gift Shop.

  • Do you enjoy computers?
  • If you feel at home around a computer, can work a calculator, and would like to help your local community this volunteer role is for you.
  • Are you keen to learn new skills?

Learn how to operate our Point of Sales System.

Do you have prior knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Programs?

Have you worked in retail before?

  • Training will be provided with the POS system *Retail and customer service training can be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.

The hours may suit a school parent (10.30 am - 2.00 pm - negotiable) daily (5 positions available - get in early to choose your preferred day! Bring a friend or friends on your selected special day to volunteer with you.

Desired skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Some Retail Experience
  • Maths, adding and subtracting change
  • Trusted with Cash - references required
  • Teamwork is needed as well as working independently
