Volunteer visitor

The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Doncare.

We are seeking a friendly female volunteer to visit an older Indian lady living in a residential aged care home. Spend time together completing puzzles, colouring and reminiscing over her fascinating life.

As part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), you'll visit your new friend on a weekly or fortnightly basis, offering companionship and joy. While you bring happiness to her life, volunteering can also enhance your own well-being, boosting self-esteem, happiness, and overall satisfaction.

Doncare’s Social Support Program team will provide full training and ongoing support to ensure you have the resources you need.
