Volunteer Minibus Drivers Needed at Karana Aged Care Community

The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Baptcare.
The Role
Baptcare's Karana Aged Care Community in Kew is looking for volunteer drivers to take our lively residents on fun outings around Kew, Melbourne City, and beyond! If you enjoy chatting with older generations and exploring new places, we want you as our minibus driver and tour guide.
When: Any day from Monday to Friday, hours flexible (AM or PM)
How often: Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly (max 3-hour shifts)
The Requirements
- Valid full Australian driver’s licence and clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo or provide a National Criminal History Check
- Provide two referees (non-family) who can speak to your character
- Be reliable, compassionate, and enjoy spending time with elderly people
- Commitment to regular volunteering
- Experience as a transport driver is a plus, but not required, training provided.
- Availability to drive on various days and times throughout the week (maximum 3-hour shifts).
