Volunteer Mentors Wanted – Knox L2P Program
Help a young person get their licence – and their independence!
The Knox L2P Program is a partnership between headspace Knox, Each, the Department of Transport, and TAC, supporting young learner drivers who don’t have access to a supervising driver or vehicle.
We’re currently looking for patient, supportive volunteers to mentor these young people on the road to their licence.
What we provide:
- Fully insured vehicles – no need to use your own
- Comprehensive mentor training
- Ongoing support
As an L2P mentor, you'll:
- Support disadvantaged young people
- Build strong, rewarding connections
- Help develop safe, confident drivers
You can apply if you meet the following requirements:
- Are over 21 years old
- Hold a current, full Australian driver’s licence
- Have a safe driving record
- Are medically fit to drive
- Have (or are willing to get) a valid Working with Children Check and Police Check
