Avalon is a volunteer centre aiming to meet unmet needs when we can, where we can and in whatever way we can. In addition to our centre, we have a program named, ‘Avalon Homes for the Homeless', aiming to provide affordable accommodation for individuals experiencing homelessness, offering them a safe and welcoming place to rebuild their lives. Each of these properties comes fully furnished and each renter is accompanied by a volunteer support worker, to assist in the ongoing transition.

The role though involves more than just driving, it also requires help with packing the van before departure and then support whilst distributing the clothing and bedding.
