The Boroondara Family Network
The Boroondara Family Network supports families living in the City of Boroondara with children under the age of six. The volunteer visits the parents home to provide parenting support for the families. The volunteer provides practical help (holding/playing with the baby), friendly support and encouragement in a non judgemental manner. The volunteers are available to engage in adult conversation and be a listening ear. They may assist families to access other community services where appropriate

Our homework club engages young people in the Ashburton and broader Boroondara area. Our service engages young people each week for a 1.5 hour session, focused on a mix of game-based education for numeracy and literacy assistance, one-on-one direct homework assistance and a social support system for those who might be struggling with their education pathways.
